An older dude at work has an '07 Ram with the OEM 20's on it. All week he keeps saying how he wished his truck had 17's, like mine, because he needs new tires and doesn't want to pay for them.
I've been thinking about trading him wheels and getting some money from him, my tires only have 600 miles on them and he needs new ones anyway.
I was wondering what the biggest size tire I can fit on a 20" OEM wheel and not have it rub on a stock suspension 2011 SLT QC 2WD? At some point I'd like to get a 2.5"/1.5" leveling kit and try to fit 35's under it on new rims but that's not gonna be for a little while.
Obviously I need to take a good look at his wheels and make sure he didn't jack them up, but I think 20's with some beefier tires would look pretty good. Maybe I could throw some Bilsteins on all for corners and lift me up an inch or so.
Any thoughts?
