Anybody do this? I tried Timbrens and hated them. They're for sale. Cheap. I've upgraded my rear springs to TTC-1223v which ride very nice and do support my payload pretty well, but still have a little too much give. I'm not convinced on air bags yet, and might actually go to a heavier spring. These Sumo things sound like they might get me what I want with minimal work.

They are a great compliment to your springs and or WDH if for towing. Compare to Timbergrove.

Is this what you're looking at?

https://www.supersprings.com/instructions/INS_SSR-307-40.pdf

They have this one - a 1000 pound rating as well as a 1500 pound version.

If you install some please keep us posted as to how well they work for you. I have the TTC 1211 springs - pretty happy with them, but I'm also looking at the Sumo Springs (1000 Lb. version).

Yes, that is what I'm looking at. The 1000 lb ones. If I still had OEM springs, I'd probably opt for the 1500 lb. I really wish I would have gone with the TTC-1211 springs right up front.

I had Super Springs on my 2003 2500, the 1500LB version. Great addition to the truck and would highly recommend them. I also added Sumo Springs overtravel poly bumper "springs" when I added a truck camper into the mix on this truck. I understand this is a 1/2 ton question but I believe my comments would still apply. Both additions worked well for me.

If I get airbags, the Timbergroves are at the top of the list. VernDiesel, I'm not sure I'm understanding why you're comparing the poly Sumo Springs to the air inflated bags though.

So did you ever get the Sumo Springs?

If so did you get the 1000 or 1500 pound version and how did they work with your TTC-1223V springs?

I ended up with custom manufactured springs that are supposed to be 50% stronger. They lifted the rear a couple inches over OEM and are stiffer, but still a very acceptable ride. The wife didn't even notice the difference. They are probably pretty close to TTC-1223. Sorry I can't help on the Sumo questions. Guess I should have come back and provided closure to this thread.
