I have a 2010 ram 1500 with the 5.7, it has around 190k miles on it. It runs and drives very well with the exception of a jumpy idle. Ive had it almost a year and it has always idled rough but has recently started to get worse. I am suspecting a vacuum leak. I took a look at the fuel trims and both banks show around +16% long term which indicates a lean condition and backing up my suspicions. I have sprayed all the common areas (throttle body, intake manifold, various vacuum lines etc) with brake clean and the idle didn’t jump or change at all so I’m not sure how else to check where it might be. Are there any common area on these that are known to have vacuum leaks?

Some brake cleaner is chlorinated and non-flammable, so you may not get the desired result. Starter fluid has worked best for me when detecting vacuum leaks.

I made sure and tried it with the flammable kind.

Also incase it might help narrow it down any, it definitely gets worse as it warms up. It idles very smooth when cold, but after driving it and letting it idle is when the rpm’s start jumping around

I would check your purge valve in engine bay It controls gas vapors from your gas tank and if the valve is malfunctioning, it could be slightly open. Close stuck open a variety of different things can happen and a lot of times it doesn't throw a check engine light

Also, you won't be able to find that leak with flammable liquid because the leak is inside of the purge valve that is closed system inside of the hoses it controls

May have zero to do with being a vacum leak. Running lean could be injectors, 02 sensors, timing, ecu or a raft of other things Is it throwing any codes ? If not, put it on a proper scanner.

Check the torque on your intake manifold bolts , they are known to loosen over time. 108 inch pounds.
