Suspension rattle

I realize this can be hard to pinpoint. When I drive threw town and my wheel falls into a pot hole get a hard bang in front suspension you can feel it in the cab. It felt like bad shocks but I changed those out. I checked ball joints and tie rod ends any thoughts? My truck is a 2003 dodge 1500 4.7 v8 single cab 2 we'd with cst leveling drop nuckles

Only thing I can think of is maybe the bump stops are gone

Check sway bar end links.

Sway bar end links are the only thing I have not checked how do you do so.

With the design of the sway bar end links of our trucks, I would unbolt the end from the sway bar itself and see if it is still tight or makes any noise.

And those are located....? Lol mine may be gone too.

Should be on your lower control arms if I remember correctly. Just jack your truck up, and check all the suspension components. Pull on them and jerk them really hard, and see if anything is loose.

Cv's aren't supposed to have any play, right? I can pull my inner joints and half shafts and they'll shake..

I think some play is ok, given a somewhat aged vehicle. Can you take a picture or vid of how much play they have?

Well, 122k miles and I don't think they've ever been replaced..
