My Grandpa is 92 and a War 2 Vet.

Just crawled out from under my Exploer.
Getting 20yr rear rotors off was fun. lol
New rear brakes, diff fluid changed, fuel filter changed, oil and filter changed, MAF sensor cleaned, air filter changed, power steering fluid changed, Redline S1 in, brake fluid getting changed.
Waiting on front rotors and pads and still need to clean the throttle body and intake.
Then I need to find out what fluid the transfer case takes, its all wheel drive.

Wheels and tires next then dual exhaust and hopfully another 4 or 5 years out of the old girl.

What is your method going to be for cleaning the throttle bosy. I know you have to be super carful with moving the throttle plate if the car has cruse control.

Id use power foam, spray in after MAF or make sure not to get any on MAF. Spray in while engine is running.

Power foam is a better product. I ised seafoam last time because the straw made it so easy and i could just get it at the store down the road. The seafoam throttlebody cleaner with extra contains the majority of acetone if you look at the SDS..... if I remember correctly

If you can wait buy it from Amsoil, if you can’t stop at your local store and just get the seafoam

I'm thinking it's Amsoil branded so the only place to get it is Amsoil. If I remember right it comes with a straw. It's been awhile since I've had or used any of it. The last time I used some was on my wife's Econoline van that had over 200k mile's on it and nothing ever got done to that thing unless it quit. (She had this vehicle before we knew each other). Used the powerfoam on it and got it running for another couple of years. It had so many unmaintained miles on it I told her I wasn't willing to start investing alot of money on it.

How long does it take for you to get you're shipment? If I order over the weekend it will be on my doorstep tuesday, well, maybe Wednesday this week since Monday's a holiday.

Well I don’t know with me being in NM now, but when I was in San Antonio, I would get it next day. (business day)

That’s exactly how i did it. But i did half a can witht eh wife running thw RPMs up. Let it soak during dinner and then sprayed the other half in while it was idle (wife was was putting boy to bed) then jumped in and gave it hell. It puffed a cloud of white smoke the size of my house, chugged, spit and spattered for the first 10 seconds of giving it hell and then it ripped down the road as normal.
