I'm down in the East Bay if you need help man!
Packing, fire one hill away less then 1% contained 3 plus days in. Glad we have notice, we can save everything worth over 500. Gonna through anything worth over 500 that I can't pack in the pool. No matter what happens we have our lives and family and funds to rebuild. Not expecting wifi or electricity to last much longer. Thinking about grudge ******* my wife to get her to relax TMI Burla, T M I.
Thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers, use them for the less fortunate as there are many. Forecast for wind and sun as long as they go out. Watching the firemen is like someone ******* on a bon fire, there aint no stopping this. For some reason they are not burning backwards, I don't understand why. I'm sure they have their reasons, maybe lost cause, maybe not enough fireman. Before it is done it may be similar to the 1906 earthquake. We will feel safe as we cross the golden gate I'm sure. It may be one day or two or three, but we see the path of the fire and we don't see a scenario where the house survives. Staying and fighting, aint an option. Remember, this old home goes I just doubled my new worth, it has been a running joke. Houses are just sticks and drywall, can be replaced easy, home is where the heart is.
chit helicopter over head.
I have used nothing but AMSOIL in all of our vehicles, lawn mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, generators, etc, etc... for at least the last 20 years. My diesel trucks go 20K per oil change and my wife's Jeep Patriot 2.0L goes 8-10K now on the XL oils. If you research the rankings, AMSOIL is #1 and Mobil1 is #2 in quality, performance, and durability. AMSOIL is a bit of a pain to get for most people, but it is worth the effort to me.
Wow , how true is that .... Me I have a connection with things that matter ...the wife like yours has a more emotional attachment to stupid **** in her 25 yr old hope chest than the real things that matter now ...??? I just don't get it , but the hope chest would be one of if not the first thing I protected ....because SHE is my #1 priority ha ha ha. , I'm pretty sure I'm not hers ???Isnt that the truth. I have zero emotional attatchment to my house. Never have never will. Just pride in the work we have done to it. My wife is a different story. She has emotional attachments to Christmas cards from 10 years ago. Hope she has the same stronge attatchment to me .. LOL
Best motor oil is like the most beautiful woman, it's in the eye of the beholder. Sure this oil does this or that better but does that make them best? I've used Amsoil for years and it's the best I've used, but that don't mean it's the best, just the best I've used. Now if my Hemi starts making bad noises it won't be best anymore. Everyone wants to hold this oil or that oil up as being the best, the best is what works the best for you.Is there a link to this info or is it a colabetation of opinions that you have gathered? When somthing is stated as a fact on this thread we like to see some kind of supporting links. Otherwise state it as "JMO"
Thanks.

I totally understand, and that was my opinion, have nothing to back it up except my experience by using it. And like I said, if it fails to meet my expectations I'll move on to something else. (Redline)Understand. It was just a friendly reminder that we dont take opinions as facts. Opinions are definitely extremely valuable though...well some. LOL.
Question for you guys, I'm at 3400 miles on Redline 5w30. I changed the PUP mix I was running at 3300 and ran a UOA which showed much lower copper. My question for is should I change it now and run a UOA to have an apples to apples comparison to PUP or should I run it 5-6000 and then run a UOA? Truck is running whisper quiet and smooth. About 800 miles of that was towing my TT. Just hate to waste Redline and run multiple UOAs...
I would wait. I would expect wear numbers to be a bit high. I wouldn't run an analysis until your second run of redline.
You have the fumoto drain valve , so I'd do a uoa only for the apples to apples comparison and continue to run the Redline until you reach your oci ...Question for you guys, I'm at 3400 miles on Redline 5w30. Yeah I think that's what I'm going to do. I really hope copper is still down. If not, I have a choice to make: good wear numbers with PUP or quiet Hemi with RedlineYou have the fumoto drain valve , so I'd do a uoa only for the apples to apples comparison and continue to run the Redline until you reach your oci ...
