Does that say 220 or something like that? If so that is literally perfect. Was that city driving as well?

Water boils at 212, so anything between 212 and 229 I say perfect.

RLK, I was thinking my oil temp was alittle higher than I remember seeing what is yours normally. ?
Just wondering if my temps are high amd wondering why..as you can see it was only 66* out.
thoughts
Your temps are fine 221° & 217°. , I wish I could get those temps more often to burn off normal condensation.
It does seem a bit high for 66° out , but still nice to burn off the condensation.

What kind of driving were you doing in 66° weather to get those temps ?

I'm sending my boys to come get your man card, that sucker is revoked. it doesn't have to be permanent, but you will have to do some dirty nasty **** to get it back.

Yeah its right around 217-220* , that was 20 miles of hwy T 70-75mph and then the idle pix was almost 30 miles at the house. I run the truck hard most times know I should not but allways have.
glad to hear its normal, just figured it would not be that high when it is only 66* out.

Depends on what kind of engine loads you had. I've seen those kind of oil temps while driving in NH when it was around 50 out just because of the terrain. Like R.L.K. said, I wish I could get my oil that hot more often to burn off any moisture...

69GWC what gears do you have? Like Corey was saying load, if you have 3.92's that will put more load at 75mph.

Based on his xsmn temp , he has the 8 speed ...it would be awesome if he has 392s in the differentials !!

Anyhow, those temps are no worries. If you ever tow, let us know what they get up too. I'm just curious.
