So I was "researching" last night and found several videos on YouTube about the additive package falling out of the PUP. Any of you guys had this experience? It would seem to me if you shake the bottles this would not be an issue. Either way ive never heard of this and am suprised it happens.

Shaking it technically wont re-suspend it into the oil. Once it falls out it will keep doing it. How fast i dont know but it will.

Iv seen the same videos. And all oil will do it but its not as common as tou think.

I had one 5 qt jug of PP that had some additive at the bottom of the jug but that was years ago before the GTL oils came out. I checked every qt and jug of PP and PUP I've used since then and haven't see anything in the bottom

Trooper: Sad to say—>Once an additive or additives have fallen out of suspension.
No amount of shaking will put them back where they belong.

Thus in my feeble mind if you hoard oil?
It is important every so often to shake all bottles to keep those additives in suspension.
97% of todays oils have formulations that do a awesome job of keeping these special additives in suspension for many years while on the shelf. Some times $hit happens!
Sad to say it is not a perfect sensitive FREE World.

I am a shaker & have always been a shaker.
Don’t give 1/16th of a $hit what others think about this.
My Amsoil sponsor & I have had many conversations about this & what he explained to me makes perfect sense.

Once Jugs or Qts enter my hands each container is shaken at least once a month until used!
(Takes about 2 min out of my day) - (Plus makes for a quick decent forearm/bicep burn)!

I'll fish anything, we even creek fish for baby trout from time to time. But hard to beat steelhead or salmon runs.

Onemc4you, this has been posted here before, and while his tests are good, it doesn’t quite capture what we have based off the Hemi’s specific needs. We have narrowed it down to a handful of good oils that work very well in the Hemi.

Yep...PYB works good if you don't mind a 3k O.C.I.

Unfortunately many 5.7 hemi owners that have the "TICK" will use anything to appease the possibility that the engine will go KABOOM eventually...Not many posters here in this thread have actually pulled the valve covers and taken a closer look at their top end...Especially cylinder #5 lifter/cam lobe...:love51:
