Well. Redline had proven itself across the board. So has motul.A while ago there was a guy that referred to redline oil as voodoo. He was a..... he was different. Did not like redline. So the word stuck to redline here. Hence my avatar
It's highly doubtful any newer oil standard is going to make a lower oil quality. The oils of today are substantially better than they were 15, 20, or 30 years ago. Not by a little either, by a huge margin.Only way I'll run Motul is IF, because of all the GF-6 madness, Schaeffers weakens their formulation for the series 9000 5W-40 I'm currently running. Motul would be in play for me at least because for the time being, I can get their 300 series of oils slightly cheaper than I can get Redline. To be honest tho, I'd clearly be more inclined to purchase the American product even if it is slightly more expensive, in the event of a weakening of Schaeffers, and that means Redline.
