Here is what my dash looks like. It only tells me the tires are low when I first start the truck. It doesn't show that screen again until the next time I start the truck.

I agree and was your tires worn out in the middle?
80 is the max psi on these tires and hats only needed if you have the max weight on the tires which I think is 3,000 some odd pounds. Therefore if you run 80 psi and you only have 1800 pounds of weight on the tire, you will wear out the middle of the tire. Make sense!

I was given the truck with 95 psi in front and back. I dropped them to 70 psi and still need to drop more I think. Its rediculous that they inflate these tires so much. I think they want to try to keep the MPG as high as they can.image.jpg

Holy crap.... that's crazy they were over 90psi. 80 is the max the tires are rated for. Max weight @ max psi it 80 on E rated tires.

The whole alarm thing when the tires get low is BS. I use to run my old 3/4 ton at 50 in the rear to soften the ride and then pump them up when I needed to tow/haul. Nothing like "big brother" looking out for me.

Dash envy. I also have the utilitarian one.

Just got my weathertech floor liners, and FedEx also delivered only half of the Bakflip VP

I should have gotten a Tonneau cover myself but the deal I got on the tires was amazing. So the money went on new meats. They were a set of take offs and only had 6,000 miles on them and I gave just over $125 for all 4 mounted and balanced. The set of tarra grapplers I had on my Silverado I got 70,0000 miles on them. Well, time to drive to work for 24 hours. I will do a video of in cab driving at 65mph and 75mph and some acceleration and I will get one of the guys record me driving by the fire station to get the sound clip that way as well.

My '13 has a "Light Load Inflation" option which allows for 65F 45R without throwing any stupid codes. The '14 no have this?

I have to say, I'm impressed by the mileage in this giant truck.

Took a trip to the mountains yesterday and did a ton of driving. Up and down the hills EVIC showed 17.0 which surprised me. Used 4 wheel drive quite a bit and got tons of pictures off-roading that I'll post later but for now this will have to do. At one point when I was trying to take it out of 4 low it wouldn't shift back into 2 hi and I couldn't put it in park with out a slight grinding noise and when I was in drive or reverse it was in neutral. Finally put it into 4 hi and then back into 2 hi and it all worked fine. There is now a single pop that feels right below my drivers seat when making a right turn that confuses me.

Its possible that the hub did not unlock. That will usually make it pop but more than once when turning

It is really stupid that the 14's don't have it. Overinflation is dangerous too, not just under inflation. Plus, lots of people add different rims and tires that have different psi requirements than stock. Really stupid that you cannot at least turn off the alarm. I understand the 3500's have the TPMS but no low pressure alarm. Why not the 2500's?

Mine were 91 psi all around. I have read that they do this to avoid flat spots from sitting on the lot in one place for a long time. But the dealer ought to let out some air as part of the preparation.

Anyone willing to post oil, tranny, and coolant temps both loaded and unloaded with 6.4? Should I start a new thread? Kinda want to see what everyone's temps have been running.

Driving for 12 hours today. I'll get a couple shots along the way. I haven't seen much deviation wether unloaded, just a SxS on a trailer, or my 8K lb travel trailer.
