also in the next couple tanks ill report my mileage findings with the economy tune also, last tank i got almost 2mpg better than ive ever had but i need more than one tank to be happy lol

any idea what your altitude above sea level is ?, that can play a factor at the track. Also I would be willing to bet you would see some better numbers on a 93 Octane tune also.

I am no means a drag racer, but I know the launch is critical in getting good timing at the end of the track.

I know. 8hp? That's around $50/hp, and hardly worth a tuner. Even 2 mpg better would probably take 100k miles to pay back.

Did the Cabin Air Filter mod this past weekend, wasn't too bad! Also put a toolbox in the bed... nothing fancy, just a generic box from Autozone.

Others made any changes or upgrades lately?

SUD, is the cabin air filter mod the same as the 1500?
I need to do that mod too, whats the cost on all the parts (fairly cheap right).

I think there are tons of post regarding this mod on 1500's. Just want to make sure its the same.

Any parts list available?.

Yeah, I like this forum better but I like the 6.4 threads over there better. Seems like activity has slowed up on this thread.
I'm sure I will end up bouncing back and forth, but I think a few of the guys have started up accounts over there.

Thanks for the report, that's pretty respectable MPG. I really want a 6.4, but, having had a Cummins, the towing ability and MPG have kept me in limbo.

Excellent mileage for 15k fiver! Many hills? I got 8 mpg hand calculated or so towing 10k, but many hills. 4.10 axle.

HorseManAR, that's a sweet looking Laramie! My 05 was a Laramie, but I've been leaning towards an Outdoorsman this time. After reading some of the reports of glitchy electronics, I may consider a Tradesman.

Thanks! I added a new diff cover this weekend. It's the AAM version you see on the dually trucks with max tow package. You have to remove rear sway bar. Pretty easy job.
