Thinking its time for some tires, maybe wheels.......

Well......I'm finally sick and tired of my Goodyears........so its time to start that looking process.

The fun part? I haven't bought a set of tires since........2002? LOL ...... yeah.

So, I'm thinking of getting a set of Nitto Terra Grapplers, 275/65/20s. OR......295/70/18, with some new wheels. (or 20s with new wheels), I don't know. All sorts of ideas in my head right now.

Anyway - the TGs are about $1,100 online, plus mounting locally. I was also looking at a set of Fuel Offroad Gauge wheels, in chrome.



So now the fun is trying to find a decent price on them too.

I'd really like to keep it all under 2 grand........but I am really not seeing that happening.

So for those of you that buy up tires all the time - where are you finding the best prices on them?

Discount Tire Direct was a great to deal with. I bought my Cooper Zeon LTZ's from them. They did the price match and beat Tirerack by a lot. Free shipping and they threw in Road Hazard Protection, couldn't beat it. I bought the stock 275/60 size, so I can't speak for 34's but I know I'll be buying my next set from them.

You know I'm gonna vote for Discount Tire. At least here locally, can't beat their service. I think I got a good deal on my tires too. 1200 on the truck with free lifetime balance and rotation.

Yeah I couldn't find them in a 34 either, but they really are a great tire. No complaints from me at all.

UGH dont remind me on tires. If I knew 20's were so expensive I would have had the dealer swap them for OEM 17's. I hope I can get another year out of mine.
