If it feels like you have some porpoising and it feels like the trailer is "hitching" (don't know a good term for it) back and forth, you probably need a bit more on the WD hitch.

i have the the bars about as low as they will go in the brackets. so i guess im my theroy if i raise the bar/brackets via the bolts on the tongue of the trailer it should act like a wheel barrow and put more weight on the ball ? correct ?

You're going to be transferring more weight to the truck itself. More towards the front overall. What type of WD hitch do you have? Okay, I looked it up, you have to adjust your brackets on the trailer frame to get the brackets higher then to get more WD to the front.

There's no adjustment on the hitch head itself on your WD hitch then.

How much adjustment do you have with the trailer frame brackets?

I would move your brackets up until and test drive it to where there is little to no porpoising and hitching. Then find a CAT scale to see where you are at.

Post your unloaded truck numbers and your loaded truck with wet trailer & WD applied numbers. Without it your guesstimating trying to get in the ballpark. With numbers you can see what needs to be adjusted to more quickly & concretely put you in the zone.
