tired of looking...exhaust tips

I want to replace my 4" stock exhaust tip with some 5" but I don't want to order the wrong size so I would appreciate some help. I looked all over and I can't seem to find what the stock exhaust tip inlet size is, is 2.5" or 3.0"?
any help would be appreciated. Also a length of the stock would be good for ordering new ones.

Your exhaust tip inlet is 2.5 inches. If you go with Moe's, Carven, or FlowRite they will be the right size and length.

Thanks Hawkman, I thought it was a 2.5" inlet but wasn't sure. Now to find a nice black tip that will add to my ARH headers and muffler, already sounds great but just want to add a bit of a deeper sound and get rid of stock tips.

I'm scheduled to get a set of 5" tips today. They are stainless Works double wall conical. I'll have to do some extra work. The inlet is 3", so I'll need an adapter, plus they are chrome, but I have a buddy that will powder coat them black for me.

I might also have someone weld the adapters so I don't have to deal with so many clamps.

I've found some 5in polished tips on ebay, but most are 3.5in inlet. I'm wanting to adapt these to the factory socket piping that the original 4in tips are on. I've got 2 extra tips that are damaged I was going to cut off and use the piping to weld on the 5in tips. Will the 3.5 inlet be to large to adapt to the factory pipe?

I bought the Moes 5" tips because I thought they looked the best with how deep the 5" round goes under the bumper. I ceramic coated them black.
