I am looking at replacing my stock transforce with either Toyo AT2 - RT or MT? I am also going to a 20x10 wheel. Please give your feedback and experiences with 33 x 12.5 and/or 35 x 12.5? I am located in the northeast. Thanks

i had the 33x12.5x18 on my last truck, the at 2. great looks, quiet on the road, great traction as well. Love the aggressive look on the sidewalls as well.

I plan on purchasing tires before winter and have it narrowed down to 2 that I like. In the end FOR ME it comes down to these things in this order..

1) my #1 requirement is a strong sidwall, 3 ply only, and acceptable deep snow and light mud performance?

2) Will what I "want (the cool tires)" actually preform well for what I will actually be using them for? (be realistic)

3) will the tire last long enough (miles) to justify the price in my mind?

unless you just want something that looks good. Then buy the M/T if you can handle the MPG loss and road noise. Neither would bother me. They just dont last and are more expensive.

what has helped me is going to tire stores and talking to people about the ones you are interested in. seeing them in person helps a LOT.

i had the extreme model, 10 ply. very strong side wall, rolled well, great in the snow, and anything else you could throw at them.

I have the 37x12.5 R/t's and had M/t's as well

Both tires are awesome IMO

if you are mostly road I would roll with the R/t's

Lots of off road the M/t's

they are an excellent tire. my wife has the original toyo A/T on her explorer and they are great in the snow so I imagine the A/T 2, and better yet THE EXTREME is even better.

I just want to try something different.

I just got a set of the Toyo MTs, 35x12.5x20..

The first picture is a 20x10 wheel
and then second is a 20x9. I didn't like the offset.

Love the tires and these tires are bullet proof..

If you've got a 2500, I wouldn't go far from Toyo or Nitto. You'll get more mileage out of the Toyo. I didn't get that much with my Nitto's, but then again I have a CTD, so the weight is a big factor.

Is your rig stock? What offset did you end up going with? Did you have to trim and/or cut to fit the 35s?
I am also trying to decide on 33s or 35s My new wheels are 20x10 -12
