So I picked up a used set of 17" rims and tires and they don't have tpms.
How anoying would it be to run them without ?
I've seen cheaters that fool the system into thinking they are still there

On my 2013 I didn't have sensors on my 35's with aftermarket 17's I had no chimes or warning lights.

I don't have sensors on my srt's. I have the dash light for ow tire pressure on. It's a little annoying but you forget about it.

Depends how picky you are. I spent the $250 to clone my oem sensors for my srt's because 1, my OCD brain would have went insane looking at the light, and 2 I tell my customers all day long how dumb it is to bypass safety systems so it would have made me a hypocrite to drive around with my light flashing.

You can make a pipe "tank" using PVC and PVC caps with one of the sensors/valve stems hanging out and put 40 psi in it. I made one but had bad luck getting the sensors to program on my Maxima. I had one damaged and replaced with one off eBay with same P/N. You may have better luck with OEM sensors that are working correctly. Wrap sensors in bubble wrap to keep them from getting damaged, just don't plug the sensor ports.

Yea, that's an easy way to do it. Then just zip tie it up under your frame somelwrhere in the middle of the truck. I'm gonna give it a shot on the new 6.4, see what happens.

I haven't had TPMS sensors in either of my trucks for 3 years now, all I have is the dash light. I just live with it and don't even think twice about it anymore.

Yeah, I put black electrical tape over the dash light in the Maxima, an old Ford trick, lol. The pipe was in my trunk so no road carnage but a truck you can put it in the cab just make sure to use solid core PVC rated for 120psi etc. That composite core crap is only for gravity drains and might burst. Cross section looks like a green center on the weak stuff.
