just a quick update on my radio and quick connect issues.
Background: On thanksgiving i started my truck and the radio went into a loop of asking for the usb thumb drive. I called uconnect and started a ticket with them. We went over many steps and nothing seemed to work over the phone. I had 2 trips to the dealership and they billed me for basically confirming what i already knew, the radio was not working. After looking at the aftermarket radio options I went with the purchase of an replacement of the factory radio from the dealership. (ugh i know but i was sure this would work with the options i needed.)
As I had the ticket opened with uconnect they worked with me and the new radio was linked to an issue with uconnect. So it was replaced for no charge.
Also this was a newer version of the uconnect with nav from my 2013 version.
Wanted to share this in hopes it helps others. The dealership will not work with you, but try the manufacture.
