This thing is huge! The cover is built extremely well and holds a ton of fluid... 8 quarts total, which is 3.75 over stock. The differential will be getting treated with Amsoil 75W90 Severe Gear

Got everything installed today without any problems... let me tell you, this MagHytec pan is AWESOME! Very well built, great quality, looks awesome, and holds 8 quarts of gear oil!

Front differential pan off
IMAG0420_zpsz4fecejt.jpg

The inside of my pan was extremely clean!
IMAG0421_zpsefnf4slj.jpg

Pan back on and new fluid going in!
IMAG0422_zpsfn2dlm36.jpg

Rear differential pan popped loose. You can see the old fluid and how clean it is. I have had the truck for about 75k miles and haven't ever touched the fluid, so I was impressed.

Rear pan off:

We put an AFE rear differential pan on the rearend of my buddies truck, so here are a few compasisson pictures. I was not impressed with the quality of the AFE pan. We had to clean out metal flakes from the pan right out of the box from machining, the powdercoating was only fair, and we struggled to get the drain plug, fill plug, and temperature sensor plug in because of bad threads in the pan itself. It also costs right about the same as the MagHytec and holds a quart less.

The MagHytec is on the left and the AFE on the right.

Alright, I think I finally got this wiring problem solved for good. I want to post the fix here just in case anyone else ever comes across the problem.

We ended up finding 2 shorts in the wiring going to the left taillight. Neither wire was broken all the way though, just the copper wire inside, so it was next to impossible to find. Once we fixed that, the taillight worked find, but we still got the fast flash on the turn signal, and ding with turn signal and brakes. I narrowed that down to the resistor in the led taillight itself. So today I cut out the old resistor and put in a new one... so far so good!

Here is the old crappy resistor cut out:
IMAG0459_zpsfero0jk5.jpg

And the new resistor in its place (the yellow box):
IMAG0458_zpse0fqsedv.jpg

I bought the resistor from superbrightleds.com for only a few bucks... so all in all, the entire fix was less than $20... but it was a HUGE headache.

That lift looks great on your truck man!

BTW, I sent BIRDMAN a message about the possibility of becoming a vendor a few days ago, haven't heard back from him... who should I talk to?

So... everyone has waited long enough... I picked it up from the painters today. I am extremely pleased, it looks awesome! I am going to install it tomorrow.

Thanks guys! The H2 wheels really made the truck look like a completely different beast, and the black made it even better!

So a few new things now... have a new sounds coming out of the front end. I am going to jack up the truck later today hopefully and check the ball joints and other front end parts. Also going to check the carrier bearing in my rear driveshaft. I am just going to have to go through everything and figure it out... if its not one thing its another....

Also, we are going on vacation to Virginia, and probably taking the truck, so she needs a few things to prepare her for the trip with the entire family. I am looking at the possibility of some Nfab steps (maybe, it will depend on money.), going to be bedlining the bed using Raptor liner. After that is done, I will be putting a soft roll up cover on the truck so we can put everything in the bed without the risk of things getting wet.

I may also do another transmission tune up. It has been a while and could probably need it. I will probably switch to a Mag Hytec transmission pan to match my differential. Then it will be getting Amsoil inside as well as an upgraded governor solenoid.
