Purchaseed my truck new in 2016. Turned down the extended warranty.

Truck is 4 years old , 53k on ticker and dealer is saying warranty is out. I was under the assumption 3yr/36k for most everything but the power train was longer. Dealer says no , 3/36 then it's all on me.

Went to Mopar site and decoded my Vin. It claims basic as being 3/36 on entire truck then 5/60 on power train.

So yay or nay on power train warranty ? Seems as if I'm covered by Mopar guidelines but dealer says no.

I would file a complaint with FCA and/or try a different dealer if there is one close enough.

I'd take that info to the dealer and discuss it with the Service Manager.

Bypass the service advisors for this discussion. All they know is to repeat the minimal script prepared for them by FCA.
