Went into the dealer to finance the blacked out 14 crew cab I’ve been modding and loving the last 3 years. Only to find out the finance payments would be too high at the moment. The wife and I are looking to purchase a 2nd home in the next year and we don’t want to increase our monthly payments on anything. So the ram dealer said they were having insane rebates on ram trucks this month and I ended up getting like 10k off the new tRuck and my payments will be the same. This is a fully loaded 18 larimae in a walnut mettalic color with light leather on the inside. It’s got all the comforts which I don’t care about but it’s keeping me at the price I need to be. Overall it’s a better truck to finance in the end and I hope in 3 years I will be able to do so. The truck is very flashy which I’m not a fan off so it looks like I’ll be blacking out all the chrome!

So I pickup next week, and today I yanked almost all the mods including the exhaust that will be transferring over to the new truck hopefully.

So this is goodbye of my blackbetty and hello again with my new 18!! Looks like I’m sticking around for another 39months at least!! Lol

I'd be interested to know what the "insane rebates" were.
I was checking around here just yesterday and found nothing much that hasn't been in place for months. Somewhere around 3-4K, at least for the heavy duty '18 models.

10k off Msrp. This is for a 2018 1500 larimae CC. Basically a 51k truck I’m getting the same lease payments as my 2014 1400 bare bones express CC which Msrp at 40k.

Thank you all! Super excited actually. I loved the blacked out look, but it shows EVERYTHING! lol. I plant to black out all the chrome on this shorty... prob after winter when the plastidip will dry correctly lol. I think some black will really work with the color.

Congrats on the new beauty. With some of these insane discounts I'll have to admit that I've been tempted, but the logic in buying a new one won't pass muster with the wife. I've only got 23,000 miles and I own it......so I guess I'll be waiting for a bit.

Lol still alittle butt hurt but its overall a nicer truck to finance in the end. I dont plan on putting 30k on her in the 3 years just like I'm returning mine with less than 18k on it now. I was shocked I could get the 51k truck at the same payment as my current 40k express honestly!

Congrats and beautiful truck. Did you keep any of the mods from your old truck before heading out in?

I still have my 2014 CC. I’m picking up the new ram this coming weekend. I’ve literally removed everything in one day, remote start, 3 led bars, led bar harnesses and switches, full kicker speaker system, sub and sub wiring as well as convert back to stock speakers. Tail gate brake bar, aftermarket car back, aftermarket grill, retrofitted fogs and HID wiring. And more. I got it all done in a 7hr period and I was flying, truck is all stock minus the Westin steps, bed cover and retrofitted headlights and HIDs/harness. I will swap the headlights and HId stuff at the dealer so I just need to do the steps and bed cover and everything will transfer over except the speakers. And sub box.

Oh I also removed the oil catch can and the variram intake and went back to stock. First time I looked at the TB since it was new and the oil catch can kept it looking brand new. Love that thing.

Huge set of Thumbs up!
I had the option to bring home a 18 2500 blacked out 6.7L CTD but I didn’t want a truck that resembles every other 5th truck on the road.

I wanted to be different as I always have.
With the new freshly applied Ceramic coat of sealer/wax by the detailer the Delmonico Red / Chrome just glows in the sunlight.

Congrats on the beautiful New Ram.
