Took me a while to decide on a tire.
Went with the Toyo Open Country Extreme AT2

Truck is stock. No lift. Stock 20's
Went with tire size - LT285/55R20

I'm happy. Not noisy, but you can hear them at highway speed. No fitment issues. Sidewall looks good and aggressive, but still an A/T tire.

Toyo AT2 Extreme - $380
Toyo AT2 - $290
Mickey ATZ - $250 - 300 (Cant quite remember)
Mickey STZ - $250 - 300 (Cant quite remember)

Also should mention that tire size overall is very close to stock, except wider.
Speedo is perfect at all speeds vs. GPS.

I have 35" Toyo Open Country M/T and man oh man...I went from almost 700km per tank down to 390km per tank. FML they look great..but damn...they are heavy as hell and have killed my gas mileage. never again.

Check the Cooper STT's for your next set. Very similar tread and 67 lbs vs 83 lbs

The added height and weight hurt the mileage. Those tires are very heavy compared to stock. Have you recalibrated the speedometer though? If your speedometer is off, your mileage will be a little better than what you are actually seeing.

I'm sure most tires are great tires, but my tire guy I have been going to for years prefers Toyo's. Once I use up these stockers I will be getting these too.

I have the same suspension setup as you. Shocks in front at 2.8 and 1" spacer in the rear. I went with the Toyo at2 in a 295/65r20 and really like it. They measure a full 35" tall and 11.5 wide so they are a little lighter than most and have little road noise.

I run stock size toyo at2 in winter and 305/50-20's in summer.

I used to be a tireman and have had a ton of different tires. These toyos seem to work well all year, even in northern Alberta winters.

I wanted Toyo AT II Extremes, but the size I wanted, 295/65/20, were on national back order. So, just yesterday I had a set of Nitto TG G2's in 285/65/20 installed and am extremely happy with them so far.....

If you're on stock suspension, I'm surprised you don't have any rubbing...

I went with the ATIIs in 275/65 and mine rub a bit when turning all the way left. I went back and forth between the ATII in 275/65 or 285/55. The sizes would be (diameter/width):

275/65- 34.1"/10.83"
285/55- 32.3"/11.22"
295/65- 35.1"/11.61"

That's 1" taller than mine and nearly 1" wider...I bet I'd be rubbing like crazy when turning left.

Sorry for late reply, but the only mods to the suspension are a 2" Hellbent level kit and Airlift bags in the rear, kept around 30 lbs when not loaded. Absolutely no rubbing at all. Plenty of clearance at the upper control arm. I'm not sure what the actual backspacing is with the factory 20" sport rims are, but they seem perfect. I even bought a set of 1/4" spacers just in case, but they weren't needed.

Nitto lists these at 34.57 tall and 11.50 wide at the center section.
