96+ no longet has a sniff test, it's all done through the OBDII connector. From what i know, as long as you have no CEL, you pass that part of the inspection. You of course have to pass the safety inspection and an ABS or AirBag light WILL fail you. As far as engine swaps are concerned, the engine has to be out of the same year or newer vehicle and you are good to go. I guess you'll find out though! HEMI swap in a 2nd gen is awesome, i would love to do it.

Got the front bumper back on and adjusted after installing the 2" body lift under the cab. While removing the shift linkage rod i noticed i have a badly tusted steel fuel line. Line goes from the pump to the soft line right at the firewall. Having a lot of trouble finding a replacement :/

I wanted to do a 2" body lift and a 2" front coil spring lift to give it a Tennessee tilt look. And change to 37s

I already have a 4" lift. I wanted to add the 2" body lift and make it 6" then add the 2" front coil spring spacer which will make the front an 8" lift and the rear still 6" for the Tennessee tilt.

Plan to go long arm. Short arm is not going to work at 6"

Where do your 35"s rub with the 4" lift?

Yea i put my 35"s on with my 2" lift and they hit bad. I added the 2" BL in hopes it would be enough to clear the cab. I havent completed the fan shoud mod yet and i havent moded the shift linkage yet so i have not fired it up and turned the wheel. We'll find out soon enough.

Yes and no to short arms and 6"+ lift. I ran short arms for a couple of years with 7" lift and alignment was within spec. But they ride like S***, long arms are much better riding.
