Well I put in and took out my halo headlights about twenty times. Took me all day but I finally figured out what was wrong with them. Power is going from the ground wire for the low and high beams and shorting on the metal inside the assembly, into the halo and causing it to stay glowing even with the lights off. Only happens on one of them, and they're both wired the same. Has to be the assembly. So I'm sending them back, again. Also I tried tackling my AC. Figured out finally that my clutch doesn't seem to be kicking in. Hopefully get that fixed soon. I managed to snag a fee pictures of the lights (on the working side) before I took them out. I'm extremely impressed with the looks. I think my dad is going to buy him a set for his third gen after seeing the way they look, lol.

Got my new tires on today, woohoo!

Shop says I need to have 3 of 4 ball joints replaced. I just did them back in November. So I jacked truck up, no play in my joints. Boots have what appears to be oil seepage tho? Says I also need a ujoint for the left side axle joint, $65 for the joint?!?!? Yeah right lol.

@Johnn123 You want me to send you out four Moog bj and the tool to do the job? I also think I might have some spare cross-joints if you want them as well.

Taped off my bumper and I'm plastidipping the plastics. First coat down. Gonna look totally different with just this one update. :D

Much easier to just take off the plastics than try and tape it off. I'm looking forward to pictures too though!

Thanks guys. Yeah, if you don't have a brush guard or have one that's easy to take off and don't mind lots of masking on other body panels, real paint is the way to go for sure. But it's still not as forgiving in the prep as the plasti is.

I have the same brush guard as you but we mounted it so it's pretty easy to take off. Just two bolts on bottom two on top

I see a few differences now. Idk what type mine is. But I know it's pretty heavy. Kinda hard for me to just pick up by myself, but then again I need to start working out again, lmao.

I don't even want to try lifting mine, it's got like 4 different mounting points. I nailed the bottom rail in a ditch at 10mph in the pasture one time and it barely moved 1/16th of an inch.
