I had the 2 year coating when I got my truck. It's been 3 years now.
The 1,700 dollar price is for the 7 year coating, which is actually a really good deal. Just expensive. lol

Yeah,...that's some big cake for only 2 years protection.

Can the PowderCoating shop do the sport grill. I know guys are plasti dipping them. But I think I’d prefer to have mine powder coated if possible.

If it's metal, he can coat it. Prices include blasting and black or white powdercoating and baking the finish on. Other colors are extra.

Not sure about further up North, but in the Binghamton area we can't seem to go more than 2-3 days without rain, which really sucks when you want to give the truck a good detail. Feel your pain!

I finally decided to take some time off and relax, and by relax it was running errands for a few days then July 4th BBQ etc. Today was a day for me to get reacquainted with my most dependable vehicle so far.

I bought replacement color matched RAM tailgate letters well over 2 years ago.

I don’t have a picture with all of them on.

It was a pain in the neck getting them off, since each letter has 2 alignment pins. I went through a few yards of fishing line “I only had 12lbs at home” until I had an idea.

I didn’t double but quadrupled up the fishing line, then I fastened them to 2 key rings to make my tool.

Used some Goo Gone actually a couple of applications of it.

Washed with mild soap and water, then used some rubbing alcohol to make sure it was clean.

Then I decided to wash and wax the whole truck, with a mini interior detail.

Not a bad way to spend 8 hours!!!

drove to the lake and back. about 20 hours mostly highway. first long trip for my 2018 and the truck drove like a dream. love the hemi for passing, glad i changed out my ST door panels for softer ones, oil catch can worked great. had a lot of heavy rain. (but no bugs thx to it) the stock SRA's were fine, even when i stomped on it to pass some vehicles in rain. only about 4000 miles on them. if they last me until spring i won't complain if i have to switch out then. even with that little shortbox, i managed to fit in 2 big suitcases, my big tool box, a set of golf clubs, a cart and 3 more clubs my brother in law gave my son, and a table saw my dad gave me. with the backflip cover still able to close. barely. lol.

I want the tailgate style with the letter without the letters. Just subtle little differences but I like it better. Has slightly more character and design but not in your face

Powder coating needs current (ground) to stick I think, so plastic will be hard

You can't powder coat plastic....unfortunately

1st oil change. Drained the factory and put in royal purple with the MOPAR oil filter. Not gonna lie getting the filter off was hard.
