Installed a OCC and forgot to plug back in the intake sensor :(. Nothing like a check engine light on a new truck.

Backed into a tree branch and busted my tail light. What a pita it was to find a replacement led assembly for less than what the stealership wanted. 529cf3e78af2af3b07e47f33291fc03f.jpg

Yeah, it's beautiful. Crystal Cove beach, Moro campground. It's located between Newport Beach and Laguna Beach California. Its a really cool campground (with hookups), and the beach is spectacular.....great surf spot.

made an appointment to take my truck in next week to fix the factory paint issues . Driver side front quarter panel has multiple spots that the paint bubbled and popped leaving pin hole spots with no paint .

I realized how big the tank is tonight. 40.00 at 2.19 a gallon didn't fill her up at 1/4 tank. I got 18.1 gallons. I am seriously debating plasti dipping my stock chrome 20s tomorrow.

I recently purchased a used engine cover from a member here , so I can experiment with painting one .

I totally was planning on doing exactly what you did !

Engine cover

I used krylon fusion over high temperature engine paint (acrylic) only thing that will mess that paint up is reinstalling the cover

Went to the lake today and while I was down there a group of guys asked me if I could help pull out there car.

Apparently the ex gf stole it and tried to crash it into the lake. But it was pretty marshy and only made 1 tire in, the rest sunk to the frame.
They had a 3/4 Chevy there and couldn't get it out but I put it in 4wd and didn't even notice the car behind me...
Wish I would of gotten a picture but I was just trying to get back to fishing.

thought I would add this . yesterday I decided I wanted to paint my engine cover so I set about removing the components of my K&N blackhawk intake needed to access the cover . while removing the intake to get to the engine cover the plastic piece that is for the pvc line into the intake snapped off and the plastic threads remained inside the aluminum tube (not good it was 5pm on Friday afternoon )so I call K&N and immediately get a customer service rep I explained the problem not only did they walk me through how to get the part stuck in the tube out they immediately got not one but two of the parts (just in case this ever occurred again ) in the overnight mail and it was on my door at 9am this morning just in time for me to get everything installed and out to run my Saturday morning errands I'm very impressed with their excellent customer service and the way they stood by their product :happy107:everything back on the truckIMG_0570.jpg
