It wasn't the ride. She is short and pulling herself up into the Ram hurt too bad.....getting old sucks sometimes. After 47 years I know when its time to do it her way...lol

Sold it sadly, I will miss it. However the wife had major back surgery and even with steps I had put on was unable to get in without pain. So now I drive a Jeep. I will however enjoy the 30+ mpg. I will still be around and poke in now and then.

Post a pic of the new Jeep with details, were all car/truck guys not just Ram guys lol

Badass.....have been thinking about doing this. It really would've come in handy when I got the mower out of the basement today for the inaugural mow and all the tires were flat. Among soooo many other things.

I added front and rear Purple Cranium diff guards today. They feel very heavy duty and I like adding the splash of red under the truck.

Since it was a gorgeous day out, after I went to the gym, I cleaned/picked up the yard a little and detailed the heck out of the interior. It needed it so bad.
I was dying the wash the exterior as well, but it's going to be crappy tonight into tomorrow. Hopefully really soon!

I ordered the 1/2", inside that sleeve in the pic going into the firewall boot are (8) 18ga, (1) 16ga and (1) 14ga insulated wires all automotive grade GXL copper stranded wires. When installing it, your more or less sliding the sleeve on the wires versus inserting the wires into the sleeve, you get to a certain point and you have to bunch the sleeve up then slide it back, hard to explain but you figure it out. I found cutting it with my large wire cutters gave me an edge that didn't fray.

This weekend I got around to installing a few things on the truck and took the horrible plastic drop in bedliner out.


Installed a tailgate assist, bed rug, Bakflip MX4 cover, some blind spot mirrors and did 3/4 of the cabin air filter mod - cut myself on both the plastic and the knife so will finish that another day once the wounds have healed!


So much happier with the way the truck looks now. Just need to get the windows tinted and it will be good for me - I can’t mod it too much as I need to sell it in 4 years time when I leave the US
