we got bored and decided to go to Laramie and see what the Mullen Fire looked like. We usually go to one of two sites for camping during his hunting time. This time he went more up in the mountains. Well Now 19,528 acres have burnt with 2% containment. Was able to get his camp cleared out.

So I am finally starting my YouTube channel and I decided that for my first series, I will be doing a basic “budget” retrofit on a set of 09-18 Ram Quads. Once they are built and resealed, and I have all the footage I need for my videos, I will be selling them in the for sale section as well.

So here is what I bought:
- 09-18 Ram OEM Quad Replica Black Housings w/ Clear Corners
- Morimoto Mini H1 8.0 Projectors
- Morimoto Mini Gatling Gun Shrouds - Black Series
- Morimoto H1 5000k XB35 Bulbs
- Diode Dynamics Pro Series RGB Demon Eyes
- Diode Dynamics RGBW M8 Bluetooth Controller
- Morimoto Retrorubber
- Some H11 & 9005 connectors & 9005 splitters







So I will be filming a video to show people how to make a DIY retrofit oven with only a cardboard box, a cardboard tube and a heat gun. The video will show how to make it, as well as demonstrate these quads going into the “oven” and then me opening them. Then I will have a separate video showing how to retrofit the mini H1 and the demon eyes, as well as the wiring and resealing the housings. Then the lights will go up for sale. So if anyone is interested in them, let me know now as I’m sure they will go fast. They will be all black, no paint. I will also be making another video showcasing opening my AlphaRex Luxx lights and installing a set of the smoked corner reflectors shown above. Also front bumper install on 09-12 Rams, AlphaRex Luxx headlight install and review and a bunch of other videos planned.

I also plan to do a giveaway when i hit 1,000 subscribers where I will give away a free retrofit for any make any model vehicle. The winners choice of a new set of headlights with any upgrades the winner wants. I’m still figuring out how I will pick the winner, probably a random number generator and then match it to the subscriber list.

Either way, big things happening on my YouTube channel over the next month. I bought a ton of new camera stuff too to up my video production.

I almost bought those except for the clear side marker and no reflector for the turn signal bulb.
Got the Modifystreet version and they were junk, sent them back. Trying 'Petgirl' next, should be here in a few days.

Spent a couple mornings chasing down leaks... Tuesday, it was an oil leak (still sorting out), then Thursday, she was pouring coolant. Thankfully that one was an easy fix!

-Did a little snuggy snug here...

Unsure of where the oil is coming from. Cleaned all my connections and lines, and the only places I found super wet was the actual cooler core itself. H&S no longer makes it, so I’m gonna be looking for another one, or seeing if he can point me toward his old supplier.



Can you spot the leak?

PO didn’t utilize a block off plate when he deleted the EGR. They used this cap to keep it from pouring antifreeze. Will be ordering a complete block off plate set this weekend.

I picked up some new toys a few weeks ago. Got me a pair of LED Sport Taillights and a pair of LED Third Brake Lights with the Cargo Cameras. Will be installing one of the LED Third Brake Lights today and the LED Taillights once the adaptor arrives from Retro Shop. Here is a pic of my Ram before the install. And yes I have an extra LED Third Brake Light with Camera, will post it in the classifieds when i get a chance. Will post here again once everything is installed.

I got the rims back from the powder coater yesterday. My phone cam is the worst possible cam you could get with a phone, so I'll try and grab a better pic at some point. The metal flake is a perfect match with the bottom two-tone black. I also put the Toyo's back on. They have a little life left.

I’m secretly pining away for some sport tails... waiting for the right moment. Your truck is pretty close to what I would have done if it wasn’t already lifted with da big bumpers on it.

I keep toying with the idea of going either solid black, or a bronze/black scheme on my Rebel wheels. Looks great!
