Well after a month of ownership this week I added front and rear husky mud flaps, nerf bars, Mopar engine compartment light, Lloyd floor mats, Torklift camper hold downs and wired the electrical for my truck camper. Tomorrow I do its first oil change. Its been a busy week. I am still waiting for the upper glove box kit. That will be next week.

Did anyone else skip extending the ground strap? Mine stretched just fine with room to spare

Looks good. Time to debadge!!

Haha thanks. I like the debadged look but we'll have to see how things go. I'm kinda partial to the badges at the moment, I had my last truck for 8 years and it had 250,000 hard miles on it before I put it out to pasture. I'm sure they'll come off when the shock of having a brand new truck wears off though.

That is one of my favorite drives/rides! Beautiful, and alot of fun! Used to blast through there on my Ducati, too. :naughty:

Nice i used to go up there when I was 16 til about 19. I used to have a kawasaki 650r back then. It was a hell of a ride. I need to get back on a bike ASAP. Lol

Amen! Angeles Crest is an awesome ride... I would go La Canada --> Palmdale --> La Canada route.

What differences do the different stall rates make? Ive heard people using 2800 and 3200 stall rate tcs as well but what difference does it make?

In simple terms, the higher the stall speed, the more aggressive the launch will be. A looser converter will also have a higher recovery rpm after each shift which keeps you in the meat of the powerband. The only drawback to going 3000+ on the converter is that the transmission builds more heat and is not as friendly for towing or offroading.

Went to visit my Son at College & Watch a Disaster of a College Football Game--->278 mile round trip.

I just enjoy driving the 5.7L down the interstate! Very Smooth-Never Short on Power to Fly around Folks driving the speed limit. Very Comfortable! I know I made the right Choice! Ram created a Great Truck!

The only thing I did was clean the windshield-Check Fluids-Add 89 Octane 100% Gas! Oh ya cold weather hit-->Had to add air to these POS stock goodyear tires...

Almost to pass the 5K mile mark! I'm in no hurry to wear the new out!

Man that looks sharp! Is that Zaino that good?

Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk

Oh Yeah BirdDog! I use that stuff on everything! My '68 Camaro, the wife's Santa Fe, even my daughter's 2K Hyundai! It is much better than wax. Polish is the way to go, especially for Black cars. My 3rd Gen was Zaino'ed from day one, was an outdoor truck that sat near the coast (heavy sea-salt area) everyday, and still looked great when I traded it in for this one...

I SWEAR BY ZAINO!

Thank you! Im still considering aftermarket eventually when the new is well gone but i think the tranny cooling the truck came with should be good enough to keep me below 180* while towing and offroading...any suggestion to keep a good balance of performance and practicality? I dont tow or offroad too much for now but i plan on it one day! :)

Glad to hear I'm not the only one that hate the Good years. There an overpriced piece of junk. IMO.
