Have you driven HD trucks from any of the other manufacturers? Just curious, because I Have, and I can tell you in all confidence, that my Ram 2500 rides smoother than any of the others.

Is it still a stiffer ride? Hell yes, but it is an HD truck. I didn't buy it for a smooth ride lol.

You could try dropping the air pressure in your tires, maybe that will help you?

yep running 48psi but they are 10 plys so not much help my point is it doesnt have to ride this bad if they put some variable rate springs on it

The tow mirrors. I wish they change it to the way Ford has it, with the small wide angle mirror always on the bottom, not just while in the tow position.

Also, the speakers on the SLT model are very low, not sure if this is bad quality speakers or it has to do with the amplifier.

Do you mind telling me which bulbs you went with and did it make a difference worth changing??
Thanks.

I went with the Sylvania Silver Star Ultras.

It was a noticeable improvement....but not a “holy **** that’s bright” improvement.

I would do it again though.

Try the Sylvania ZXE's, a little more but also whiter.

For halogen I'd go with Philips Crystal Vision Ultra. Amazon has a good price on them.
Thanks guys!! I appreciate it.
I "assume" these bulbs won't case any issues with overheating or anything?

Not if you use the factory bulb type/size. All of these mentioned are plug and play replacements.

I Had Recons in my '98 and loved them. Just haven't done it yet in the '16 because I am to **** to do one set at a time. Lows, highs and driving. It would drive me nuts having different shades of lights. Kinda pricey but they lasted almost four years.

Nice! Thanks for the reply.
I'm **** as well when it comes to my babies, so it would bother me as well. But, if I had to, I would do the low beams and fog lights first and high beams last as I use them the least, if at all.

My 2015 Longhorn has 101,000 miles on the clock and to date has been the most flawless truck I have ever owned.
There is literally nothing that I don't like about this truck.
I owned nothing but GM products all of my life until I bought my first RAM (2008) I still have the '08 and it still runs and drives like new.

I know this doesn't work for this thread....But seriously, I love these trucks.

All of the cam / lifter failures that are now being posted and having a new 2016 sport has me worried.

I use this information and will do what I can to stop this from happening.

Run msd off, imo this keeps those lifters from wearing out as fast.
Use a good oil that can maybe plate the lifters so they dont have the dry start up happening, a good oil filter also is key here imo.
I also think keeping your OCI closer together will help, keeps better oil and filter on it and keeps the oil cleaner.

ofcorse all that only matters if its poor oil or dirty oil is the problem.

1. The location of the oil filter on the 4x4. Relocate it.
2. The lack of smoothness in the 8spd transmission when downshifting.
3. The dreaded "clunk" when stopping - maybe 1 out of 100 times. Feels like someone grabbed the rear.
4. The dash shifter and electronics. Frequent confusion when shifting out of 4wd - doesn't engage drive and doesn't release 4wd.
5. Short middle of the back seat.
6. No CD player. I'm just too old school.
7. Lack of assisted tailgate.
8. No vanity mirror light.
9. No light button on the console light.

Imho, with the number of hemis on the road, you statistically have a better chance of hitting 300000+ miles on a hemi than you do of having a lifter, roller and cam failure.

If you have climate control it does cost more. I replaced mine as it thought the mouse wheel was annoying and the new one does the same thing so don’t think I’ll replace again until it is dead.

Was this in a quad headlight or projector ?
