What RAM trims have amps?

What trim levels have external amps? Is it only the one with the Alpine sound system?

I have the alpine system with like 10 speakers and the sub, but I don't think they come with an amp. I could be wrong, but I haven't seen it.

Any system with a sub must have an amp; it could be integrated into the bottom of the sub enclosure, underneath it, behind the rear seat...

depends. Some the headunit pushes the speakers and a small amp powers the sub...some, an amp powers everything.

You either have a premium sound system or the basic one. Most likely the basic system doesn't have an onboard amp.

My 2006 dodge ram, had the factory upgrade infinity stereo. The amp is under the passenger foot well next to the AC. If I remember correctly you have to remove the glove box from the dash which is very easy. and the amp is right behind that.

My 2007 SLT came with the Infinity system and an amp.

Im thinking my rcsb 12 express doesnt have an amp,can any one comfirm this? id like to run speed wire from the amp to the factory harness behind the stereo with a new head unit to amp up the stock speakers to see how i like it.

Interesting; thanks! The only 5 drivers I can hear are the dash mounted front stage, the headliner rear fill and the pathetic sub; I have yet to put my ear to the 6x9's in the doors, but I swear the 430 doesn't have those. The system is so tinny, with a shallow, narrow soundstage. I've fought for years with my car stereo, to the point where I hacked up my front doors to accept 8" midbass drivers, and hoped I would have something better to start with here. Sigh.
