Ok I'm back to a ram again I had a 09 laramie with bilsteins set @ 2.1 I bought a 2013 Laramie and the old owner has a 2" block lift so I ordered a new set of 5100's as I hear there a ball joint issues and don't want that. I don't want any vibration so should I stay with 2.1 or 2.8 any help is greatly appreciated.

I would remove the Budget Boost and set the Bilsteins at 2.1

That's what I have mine set at and I have zero vibrations. I would say many on this forum set theirs at 2.8 and report zero issues as well. It's a personal decision....probably can't go wrong either way.

Just my .02

Mine are at 2.1. I have a 3/4" rake. I think it looks great and I have no vibration or rubbing.

set mine at 2.8 and 1.5 spacer in the rear. Rides better then stock to me. Either way you set them you can't go wrong with the bils. If you can afford it get the rear shocks with it.

You won't have issues setting them at either height. Ball joints are rarely a problem with Bilsteins as the Bilsteins keep the suspension travel within OEM specs. Spacer kits allow the suspension to overextend which is where the ball joints pop out.
