I just traded my 2wd for a 4x4, it’ll be the 1st 4x4 that I’ve owned and plan to drop it ASAP
I was a bit concerned that the 4x4 drop may be a little high in the front compared to my past 2wd trucks
Thanks for posting the picture, that looks perfect to me
One question- spring drop only in the front?

2” front 4” rear

I honestly think you should stick with the 33’s. If you want more of an aggressive street look you could do different 33’s with more of an AT tread like @dracman has. I seriously doubt 35’s will fit a 2” front drop as most guys need to level up 2” to get 35’s to fit without rubbing.

Supposed to be 2” drop in front but does not seem that much.

4” in rear with air lift in coil bags for Dakota works perfect (BTW with 5-10psi in rear is enhanced ride and no bottoming out)

- I’ve hauled my Harley rocker 750lbs or a full dress goldwing 1,000lbs 30-35psi rides real good despite the top heavy weight almost unnoticeable but for lighter front end

I may take your sound advice. Was thinking buying one used 295/65r20 tire to see what it looks like and to check clearances before I do anything

As far as I know the tires are 33” and 34-1/2” to fender on center 1-1/2” clearance tire to metal.
Tread is inboard about 1/4” of metal and wall of tire is just about flush with body

I think you’re pretty close to a 2” drop in the front
Just checked my stock 4x4 front measurement
My tires are 32” tall- 1/2” lower than stock, and I’m 36” to the bottom of the fender
So based on that, a stock height/tire 4x4 should be sitting at 36 1/2”
You’re sitting at 34 1/2”
Looks like 2” to me....1E9081F4-9CCB-4755-8F56-71080AC8573E.jpeg

I did a test with 295/75R20 and spear to fit. a079f8c21a181a5917dedbe4bdb20f3a.jpg

Do you like the look? I’m trying to imagine a more aggressive sidewall... should look better

I like look because it fills the wheel wells more like nascar meaty rubber. I agree lower profile would look better but Cannot do that with 22” low profile because rims are wider for 35” diameter. This will only work with 8” wide rims.
