Which tune?

Hey all I'm about to make a 900 mile trip from Louisiana to Florida in my Megacab, I have the DSP and currently run 89 octane on the 89 tune what tune should I run for the trip home? Is it worth the extra 15 cents to run 93 tune? Well that put too much strain on the engine? Thanks!

going from 89 to 93 is like going from no tuner to 89

The higher tune rolls in more timing because the better fuel resists det which causes knock. More timing = more power = less skinny pedal to get the truck going and keep going.

Yup 91 or 93. Either will net more mpgs and more power than the stupid mileage tunes they load.
