Is anyone running this combo? What did you use to achieve it?
Looking for suggestions on hubcentric spacer size and pictures of your truck.

I'm interested in this too. Not much info out there for the stock 17". I'm running 2" spacers already and my 265/70 tire is looking pretty weak.

I have 315/70/17 which are 34.4" on paper. I went with 0 offset on my 17" wheels and I have no rubbing. Don't quote me but I believe you're pretty safe anywhere from -12 to +12 offset. Just depends if you want the tire tucked in the fender or to hang out a bit. The difference between -13 and +10 looks to be about .9" or about 7/8". You would probably need at least a 2" level to clear everything.

Thanks ...I was leaning towards the +10 offset because I did want them tucked in a bit. Leveling kit is already installed.

So I went and bought General Grabber AT2s and KMC wheels 17x9 +18 offset. The tires would have rubbed with that offset so I put 10mm spacers on and they now clear with zero rubbing.

What size tire did you end up with? Sure beefs up the truck!

They look like 35s.

like was said +12mm to -12mm is a pretty safe bet.
Stock wheels need a 10mm spacer or so to clear 12.5s with most tires as some are not as wide as others.

I was going to get 18x9s with 35x12.5x18s that have a -12mm offset but life happens and now I am looking at putting 35x12.5x17s on my stock 17x8s with 1.5" hub centric spacers.

I put on General Grabber AT2 315/70/17s with KMC XD wheels

There was set of Fuel 35x12.5 tires there and they were the exact same height.

One thing you gotta love about the ram is the big wheel wells, Tazzy, that truck looks mean.

Anyway. Think the biggest issue would be width, stock 17" are only 7" wide, how wide would the tire be?

Was told they are 17x8s.
The OEM 17" aluminum 5 spoke rim is 7" wide. Some people make the mistake of measuring the outside width of the rim. It the width between the inside of the rim bead that you use.

Well hell, then yeah a 12.5 is a liitle fat for that rim , i have run that set up before though just have to watch air pressure so you dont wear the centers out.

That dually up there ^^^ probably has 6" wide wheels.

Factory wheels are 17x7. It's stamped on the inside. That's why I bought aftermarket. The tires are 12.5 wide.
