I'd question that statement, he's done amazing appearance and suspension work, a great audio build, but he's only got a P1SC prochager on it. There are several other builds that have more performance work done, but that doesn't detract from the amazing job Richard's done to the truck, or that he made the subscription cover of Truckin'.

His block isn't even stock.

It isn't stock and he won't tell me what he had done to it, lol. All I know is it's an Arrington block. As far as I know it's still stock or near stock displacement like mine, you'd mention bigger cubes if you were selling the truck, especially since he was very detailed in his list when he put the truck up the first time.

Good stuff. Unbroken used to be on RF, but he got himself banned.

No, I don't know why.

Well I've experienced the "wag," though it was pretty minimal.

Took my truck for a "spirited" ride on some back country roads last night.

The only time I really noticed it was going through a sweeping turn around 70mph. Straight line it seems fine all the way up to 90, which is as fast as I got last night.

I'll have to get some more miles with it to see if I'll invest in the adjustable panhard bar.

I crawled underneath mine yesterday and the panhard bar look pretty level.

I didn't have an actual level with me but I put my phones level app on it and it was 1 or 2 degrees off. A lot of stuff could affect that though, ie driveway angle.

I might have missed something going through this thread but how about the track bar relocator bracket that comes in all of the kits now? Does this not put the track bar back level?

I am looking into lowering kits now for my 2013 QC and trying to get the best one. It seems they all have the relocator bracket now and I have seen pictures of the Mcaughy's one but cannot find a picture of the one for BellTech....

Leanng towards the BellTech kit now because it also comes with shorter shocks for a lower price than the Mcaughy's Eco Spring kit. But would like to see a picture of the new BellTech relocator bracket to see how stout it looks.

Anyone have a picture you can share?

Thanks

It gets it closer to level, but still not all the way.

So why do they not make the relocation bracket where the bar will be level?

Is there something in the way to prevent this?

Is one relocator bracket better than the others? I wouldn't mine getting the BellTech kit and then buy a sperate relocator bracket from another manufactor if it will bring the bar into spec (level).

Maybe I will shoot an email to BellTech.

It's more about the the panhard bar MOUNTING POINTS being PARALLEL with the axle housing, not just level, unless of course the housing is level as well... As far as the wheels being centered in truck.
The wobble, IMHO, has to be from the track bar position/angle + the wheel base being shortened...
Just dropped mine, but have yet to exceed 70 mph....

Wobble wobble

Hey Twizzy, thanks for sharing this info. In addition to all ur saying, do u think the standard size rear shocks contributes to the wobble? Would it help to get fitted rear shocks like QA1 to accommodate the drop? I called QA1 awhile back & they said they can match shocks to accommodate drop but needed specific measurements of truck ride height & know what type of fittings are on both ends of shock. I'm not mechanically inclined so I had no idea, & tech was no help. Anyways thanks again:)

Ok boys I got the wobble too :( I have the econno version of the MCG which is 4 lowering springs and the track bar relocation bracket also sway bar links. Install went seemless though we did have to push on the rear to get the sway bar in the new location hole. Wobble starts about 56-60mph, seems to go away the higher the mph, but its right now at my current cruising speed on the local highways.

Some have mentioned an adjustable track bar but i'm wondering how this would help. Its it because of the pinion angle is now different or something else?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Brad

Look at your back tires. Money says one side sticks out further than the other. That's what the adjustable panhard fixes. Once you fix that your truck will actually track straight and you won't notice it as much.

I'm willing to try, do you have a like to the panhard bar you recommend? Also how do you measure the rear when adjusting the panhard bar.

Has anyone tried removing the panhard bar to see if the wobble goes away. I'm assuming we have these things because we don't have left springs?

Just look up Spohn Performance for the bar. And don't remove the one you have...your truck will be uncontrollable.
