I have used Rainx for a decade with no issues. The silicone is actually very good for all rubber components and my wiper blades are lasting longer. I find that using the washer a lot is key to keeping everything working.

Just had this problem on my 2013 1500 Big Horn and it was a quick fix. No fluid coming from the nozzles but fluid coming from the gap between the hood and the liner while the hood was open. Pulled back the liner and could see the stiff plastic hose had come out of the rubber joint that led to the nozzles, was easy to slip it back in, didn't have to pull the liner. Not sure if there was ever a clamp on that connection, but considering all the other cheap-outs on the 2013 it wouldn't surprise me.
