My SRA's did awful in the ice and snow storm we got in February. I was sliding all over the place. I just went with Toyos so I don't have any other issues.

so. To continue this thread. I have now bought a set of OEM refurbished rims 18”
Used a company called Wheels America and couldn’t be more pleased with the company and wheels!
They arrived today with UPS, from TWO different locations. All safe, all the same( always good right?) and look like new. Guarantee of straight, true. Scratched wheels only no damage.
Cost? $159.99 each. I thought that was good, if not don’t tell me okay?
Recommend this company. Good swift service and I was able to get customer service both times I called.

Well, the rims fit at least. Upper suspension arm should clear but the calipers! Wow. So close you couldn’t get a cigarette paper in there! But they do work, for the record. Next is tyres. I worry the 275/65/18 might foul the front upper control arm. We will see, maybe 265 after all, mikeru…I can’t see the Bighorns etc which have this set up with 275/65/18 set up would have different control arms though.
anyway, if you are interested here is the numbers (OEM ) you need and wheel America’s numbers too

18x8J +19.05 offset.
6x139.7 stud

Wheels of America call that #2672.
Hope this helps someone else not go through my pain with these 22” wheel swaps!

You don't need to worry about 275/65/18's working, especially with OEM wheels. That's the stock tire size for all Ram 1500 models with 18 inch wheels. Here's a screen capture for the Laramie...

And here's one from the Big Horn...

You should absolutely go with whatever size makes you feel comfortable. But that size will fit fine with OEM wheels.

Okay I am going to resurrect this post!
Got my tyres finally from Tire Rack, factory delay.
So yes, as Mikeru kindly reassured me, my set up works. 18” genuine Ram entry level rims, 18” tyres, 275/65/18 General Grabber Artic. Mounted and balanced by my dealer.
I hope someone else can benefit from my experience doing this!
They clear control arms, even with air suspension, calipers, yes very tight but no issues.
Not to everyone’s taste, I just wanted basic.
Thanks all posters!
