I am looking for the wire harness retainers that hold the main harness across the top of the firewall.. I bought a 97 ram 1500 and the big wire harness is laying on the back of the motor instead of strapped to the firewall.. they look like zip ties with plugs that fit into the holes punched in the firewall.. Local dodge dealer said they no longer list the part.. "after all..it's 20 years old" he says..
    Any help would be great..

The guy you talked to is an idiot. Any retaining clip will work as long as it has the same or larger diameter. The hole size hasn't changed for most retaining clips in 30+ years. They use almost exactly the same thing on every car out there. He just doesn't stock that particular part number, because there are a thousand other part numbers for the exact same thing.

Autozone, Autovalue, O'reillys, NAPA, all sell them. Hell, i've even seen them at Menards and Home Depot.
