Why would a Ram owner care what a Subaru owner uses for oil?

its not a Subaru oil , oil used in Subaru was HPL 0W2O, THE RESON I posted here is because ram owners like to use oils with high molybdenum in this case 728 ppm ..... https://www.hplubricants.com/

We've moved onto Lubegard.

Molybdenum Di-sulfide has been used as a metal to metal dry lubricant for decades. I've even used it in reloading, coating projectiles with it. I moved a .45ACP competition round for Pinshooting from 925 FPS to just over 1100 fps just by coating with Moly. Don't see a problem with it in motor oil. But I prefer Penzoil 0W40.

Not many companies use mos2 anymore, they now use oil soluble MoDTC which is tri nuclear moly, it is like mos2 on steroids without the downside of having powdered moly in suspension all around your sump and engine. That ppm is similar to moly in race oils, I think it would be a great level to have, not sure I would want to go over 1000 ppm moly, but imo this is all good and clearly that engine likes it.

Edit:

Looks like you're using the same oil after all, except 0w-20 vs my 0w-30, also my report is a VOA so that might be part of why it's higher.

This oil have ester in it I believe some % I don’t know how much.. seems like a good oil I can get it for under 10 bucks a quart……
