Identifying a part

Anyone have any idea where this piece goes? Part # 1HR91TRMAAF, "instrument panel cover."

It just kind of fell out of nowhere when I was pulling my driver seat, and I haven't been able to locate where it goes. Looks to be one on the passenger side as well, that I didn't have any luck finding either :confused:

Sorry man no idea but if no one knows by tomorrow I'll take a peak at mine to see if I can locate it.

It looks like the insert that is behind your door handle. Maybe?

Haha, even the Ebay seller that sells this piece says in the description that they don't know what it is or where it goes, lol.

Good guess, but nope, just checked. Starting to think that the factory just tossed this part in the cab to mess with me.

Is that the piece that goes on the dash? If so, there are two up near the windshield...

Yup, it does look like the piece that goes on the dash by the windshield. But I've already got two there in place so I don't know where the hell this one came from :shrug:

The only other thing I can think of is maybe it's an access panel off the B pillar?

Pop the one on the windshield off and see if the numbers match up. I found myself looking around my truck for this to try and help, but then realized I was driving.

I've scouted the entire 2011 parts catalog. Closest I can come is "1HR91DK2AD INSTRUMENT PANEL CAP, LEFT"... there's also a right. Both appear to go in te top of the dash according to the exploded view.

Looks like the cover from behind the interior door handle, it hides a screw that holds the door interior tight to the door frame.
