I was implying this is Sicmadek who was banned as well. Otherwise known as James. Banned because he was being nasty and attacking people.
I don't believe Jay was banned for bad manners like James was. Jay seemed to be a lot more mature and civilized.

I believe James still currently holds the 8spd quad cab record if you want to break it down that far. Otherwise Thad holds the 4dr record.

Thanks man! I love it! The mileage is unreal! Zero issues with it! My Fuelly average is 24.5 mpg over the 9000 kms I've put on! It tows like a dream too!

Yeah I'm trying to convince my company to make my company truck a diesel...so I can tow with it for work stuff and snowmachining haha.

Getting 5 custom tunes for 1 price seems like a great deal. In the write up both offered that. Not sure the difference between those 5 tunes other than octane used but I've had another tuner only offer 1 at the same price.

you might want to look into swapping tuners if possible. could be more gains there for you

It's not really 5 custom tunes. Realistically what is done is you load, in my case, a 93 octane base tune and data log it. From that log, adjustments are made to fuel and timing. Once you get the one tune dialed in just right, you use it as a baseline. From that baseline you pull some timing and you have an 89 tune. For the tow tunes, you might take that baseline tune you have made and substitute even more conservative timing tables at various loads, that gives you your 93 and 89 tow tunes. The "retard" tune is just your initial fine-tuned 93 tune with traction control completely disabled. 5 tunes and you really only had to work on one of them.

This james guy I understand him being banned. That makes a lot of sense as I had almost forgotten what an a-hole sicmadek was. Don't miss him.

Why in the world would jay have been banned? Unless a disgruntled customer caught him on a bad day and he took the bait....? When abouts did it happen? I thought I saw a post from him a couple weeks ago...?

I don't care what the business is, have customers, a percentage will become disgruntled. There are some people that I couldn't hand a $100 bill to correctly....

It's a double edged sword. I've seen a few members join the forum just to contact Jay. He's got a loyal following and he knows his stuff. He's an awfully valuable part of the performance community to just ban...my $0.02....

He never wanted to pay to be a vendor on any of the forums, had been warned multiple times, then received soft bans, made new accounts, had those banned. He basically just ignored the forum rules, multiple times. I know that on the Z you can't even mention Jay's name without Clay getting all pissy and having the SMs delete the threads.
