I haven't noticed any of the noises or squeaks (yet) but my courtesy / puddle lights on the tow mirrors don't turn on. Dealer is taking a look tomorrow in morning. The A/C does take its sweet time to get cold and I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.
I figured out the problem. The new 1500 has two buttons labeled on and off, only the on switch toggles the lights on and off and the off switch toggles the door function on and off. I'm mildly embarrassed but what does that say about the dealer and FCA engineers on the STAR case?

A/C was fine according to the dealership.

Dropped off today for them to check front end clunk, brake squeal, and re-circulate whistle. Also having them check the AC just to be safe.

Anybody get a check engine light for a throttle control system malfunction? Yesterday one of GM friends decided he wanted to check out a RAM and get out of his 2014 Silverado with paint pealing issues. We made the 100 plus mile drive to my favorite dealer where he successfully made a deal on a new 2019 Laramie. As I noticed in pretty much all the previous posts the AC was just OK but certainly not even close to that of my 17 RAM. After getting a great deal IMHO: Sticker was $55 and change and he walked out at $38600 after rebates and trade equity. Of course when we get in it to leave the SES light goes off with the previously mentioned malfunction. Its 2000Hrs and of course the service dept. has long since closed. Long story short we drove home in his old truck and there supposed to deliver the truck to him sometime today. This guy drives a **** ton of miles so if there are going to be problems they're probably going to show up fast. Hopefully RAM won't make me look bad although I told him I didn't really know **** about the 5th gens from the get go. My 4th gen has been perfect. Oh and of course it has Hemi tick from the start...........

AC was reported as fine, never had an issue but figured I would have them check.

New brakes pads were ordered and put on.

They cannot hear the clunk noise so going back on Friday to show them.

They wanted to take dash apart for whistling noise - I refused that. Someone else can go that route first.

Picking up truck in a little - hopefully no brake squeaks.

I ended up getting my truck back on Monday. Total of 41 days after I dropped it off. The screen now works but it doesn’t appear to save some settings. I have customized the app drawer twice only to have it reset as well as the XM presets. The UConnect does now appear to work as I have had more successes than failures. So that’s nice.

Mine initially did this.. I think it takes a few times to stick.

Well they supposedly fixed the CEL on my buddies new RAM and low and behold on the ride down to Charleston to deliver it to him the CEL comes back on. He told them that he no longer wanted the truck and after a little more negotiating he got another white Laramie optioned exactly the same in its place and managed to get them to pay the first two payments for him so basically almost another $1200 off the bottom line. He's happy now. Planning on making a trip to his cabin in WV at the end of the week so hopefully all goes well for him......

I have the 8.4 and it doesn't like to save my presets on the XM. I set a handful when I got the truck and they stayed..I only did a couple and hadn't messed with all of the presets. Well since then I've done it like 5 times and right when I think it held it goes back to 'some' of the original presets. It's pretty damn annoying.

Amplifier replaced for the ACN issue. Night and day difference. The audio quality is still junk but noticeable improvement. It will get full aftermarket soon.

Update: Spoke too soon. Let added up for a trip and not 5 min in the noise is back.

Clunk noise was a loose sway bar bolt. Will update after a week or two to see if it comes back.

They wont take it out during the pdi because that's when the Sirius subscription will start. new owners are supposed to, only takes a minute.

I just purchased the 2019 Dodge Ram Limited knowing of people's issues on this thread. 1 problem I found before I took it home was with the a/c. Apparently, someone working at the dealership was familiar with this issue. I'm not sure if they added Freon or just did the software update to the system, but that issue seems resolved. I do however have noticed from time to time a bit of a jolt between 1st and 2nd gear or down from 2nd to 1st. I don't know if its just my driving style and use of the gas peddle that causes this to happen, but has me concerned. Anyone else out there noticed this? Any thoughts would be appreciated. I'm sure it will be something to check out at the dealer Don't know if tweaks to the transmission can be done.

This is normal with this style transmission. My Charger does it as well.... it gets smoother as it learns your style.

If you have a decent relationship with your dealer it would be fantastic to find out what exactly they did to the A/C since some of us haven't gotten anywhere.

As for the rough downshift from 2 to 1 - this seems to be a pretty widespread complaint with the 2019s as well as earlier models. I haven't noticed it as much after a few thousand miles, but not positive if that is me or the truck adjusting.

Had my '19 Rebel to the dealer yesterday for weak A/C, best i could get was 55 degrees at the center vents, should be 45ish depending how hot and humid it is out. The tech at the dealer is a good friend so I trust him to give me the correct answers. My system was low on freon. Recharged the system with the correct amount after sucking down and starting from zero. It does feel colder on my ride home but my battery died in my temp gauge so I can't confirm until I get a new battery, so I will keep everybody posted. He did say that the new freon, 1234yf ?, is not going to cool like the the older freons.

Those with A/C issue, pull the Gray caps on your lines an spray soap solution over the valves to see if the are leaking. Blow with compressed air to clean out.

Mine had a small leak and caused the low Freon and cooling issues
