Could this be applied to a 2012 also, or just 13 and up? Thanks.

This info is for 13 & up. Can't confirm any PNs for the 09-12 trucks since they changed a lot of the electrical in 2013+

I just can't imagine having tow mirrors unless they were powerfolding,I fold my sport mirrors when parked as those would annoy pedestrians where I live or meeting another truck on a narrow street and him looking at those gigantic mirrors going wtf.

Installed my power fold tow mirrors today, used your parts list and everything went perfectly.

I did the black tow mirrors with turn/approach/heat/memory on my 2500.

Super simple install took 20 minutes.

Which PNs did you use and can you confirm if both AutoDim (req's AutoDim rearview mirror)?

M² Mods.

I don’t have the rear view dim mirror so I don’t know about the dimming, I also don’t have memory seats but I ordered memory mirrors in case I upgrade in the future.

Which brand did you go with? Quality seem good? My son will be buying a set pretty soon for his and at some point I want to buy a set for mine. I was going to go with the 1A's

I called a few dealers and all said $495 for the pair but they were backordered until about November. There were 10 dealers in the country that had a pair. in stock. These were matte finish with power fold, puddle, heated, and turn signal. No dimmer and no memory. They did say they could order the mirrors individually and get them quicker but they would be about $1000 but the kit was only $495. The 1A's are $395 for the pair.

$500 for the kit would be a great deal. Mine ran about $1,000 for both mirrors, door modules and switch. I ordered them and they were here in a few days. I try to stay OEM whenever possible. I’ve heard good things about 1A though.

I don't need the modules so maybe that was why the price difference. My factory mirrors have those options already.

Ok I added the auto dim rvm and that is working but the tow mirrors are not. I followed the Known Working on the Alfa thread but so far no go on either tow mirror.
I enabled electro-chromatic on both drivers and passenger.
Interior EC mirror present
Under program cust features
EC mirror auto dim enable.

Not sure if I missed anything or maybe it’s one of those changes that take a while. Any insight would be appreciated.

Post up in the Alfaobd and see if anyone else catches something different, but here's what I have gathered up/reposted in the Power Fold Mirror thread....

AlfaOBD Programming notes

- ** AlfaOBD
(for activating factory features yourself. See docs linked in OP for current list of settings). Thanks @Ghost Ram !

Note:
EC = Electro Chromatic (AutoDim) glass.

-----------------------------------
Mirrors Interior Rear View and Exterior: (signal, puddle, dim)

Vehicle Configuration 3:
> Interior EC Mirror Present (Rear view mirror): "yes" ... if you have this mirror

Customer Programming Features:
> EC Mirror Auto Dim: set/yes
. (Rear view mirror)

...I believe this merely turns on/off the auto dim mirror which can also be accomplished through the menu settings or soft key on the 8.4 screen.

-----------------------------------
Regular Mirror Codes w/Power fold:

Doors Configuration:
> Folding mirrors Present: Set/yes
> Mirror Turn Signals Present: set/yes
> Mirror Approach Lights Present: set/yes
> Electro-chromatic Driver Mirror Present: set/yes
> Electro-chromatic passenger mirror Present: set/yes

-----------------------------------
Tow Mirrors Codes w/Power fold:
Thanks KAD !

Doors Configuration:
> Folding mirrors present: Set/yes
> Mirror turn signals present: Set/yes
> Mirror Approach Lights Present: Set/yes
> Puddle Lamp Present: Set/yes
. (Not sure about this one being needed)

> Tow Mirror Present: Set/yes
. (Tow Mirror Flip Up Correction)

-----------------------------

Auto Tilt Mirrors in Reverse:

** For premium mirrors (chrome capped with more than 4 wires on white plug). Requires Memory seat module/seats & additional wiring...

Doors Configuration:
> Driver Memory Mirrors Present: yes/set
> Passenger Memory Mirrors Present: yes/set

CustSetMenu 2:
> Tilt mirror in reverse: yes/set
