Hey guys I lifted my truck on the cheapo side and I’m very happy with it. It was a nice project that I did by myself and I really enjoyed it. It is a 2015 ram express 1500 4x4 with a 1.5 zone body lift, bilstein leveling struts up front at the 2.8 setting, rear 5100 bilstein shocks, and 1.5 rear coil spacer. Truck has 20 inch tis wheels wrapped in Ironman mt tires. I was able to do everything around 2600 including the mount and balance and front end alignment. The only thing I may change is the rear spacer to a .75 to take more rake out due to their being a 1.75 inch difference from front to rear height.

The other little project I took on was replacing the uconnect with a pioneer mvh headunit and a nice cheap 15 dollar backup camera that I holesawed into the tailgate handle. It looks like factory and works excellent with the pioneer headunit. I replaced the stock speakers with 6 kicker speakers. I ran hdmi/usb extension to the factory location in the arm rest. Now if I wanted to which is rare I can mirror any video being played on my phone onto the screen.

besides the mt tire hum which was totally expected on my end this truck rides better than factory. It has 47k on the odometer and I couldn’t be happier with the ride result. I lifted it in order from keeping myself from buying a new truck. I looked at it as 2600 now and the truck is paid off vs lets spend 50k haha

Looks good. You may get attacked on here for doing a "cheap" body lift. Some people demand you use high end lifts or your truck will magically self implode. Lol

It went well even doing it alone..... the kit instructions are absolutely garbage from zone so if you have any questions at all feel free to ask me when you do get into it. The front end clip removal and reinstall I took my time ..... MAKE SURE YOU BUY A STEP DRILL BIT!!!! when your drilling for the new location brackets for front and rear bumper into frame..... everything else lifting the body was really simple ..... I used the jack that came with the truck to lift the cab of the truck. The bed I used a bottle jack.

Looks great, has a nice stance. The rear rake doesn’t look bad, trucks should have some rake.

I agree I like a little rake too but I think the little time and money it takes to swap a different size out might be worth a shot .... currently 1 3/4 inch difference ...... thinking about trying to go from 1 1/2 rear to a 3/4 spacer ...... I put the spacer in last after the build was done it was taller up front.

I put airbags in the back of mind and it gave me just a slight rake with the fronts set at 2.8. Bonus, the truck doesnt squat with any load. Just a thought.
