I finally pulled the trigger on eBay for a set of the 4 tone Cadillac horns. I’ve wanted them for years and decided this was the truck I’d do put them in. The stock horns aren’t bad, but nothing beats the train horn sound from those GM beasts back in the day.
The seller I found pulls them from California cars (read, no salt), cleans them, repaints them, guarantees them for 3 years, and even supplied the relay!
I started scoping out places to mount them, lots of plastic up front, and am scheming how to fab a metal bracket to bolt to a couple existing holes I found in the rear of the bumper.
First quandary though, where are the stock horns? I’m going to need that wire to feed the relay eventually.
