Konfuzed - I’m not a fan of canopies/toppers from a looks standpoint but yours looks great! Hope it serves you well.
Thanks man. I'm not a huge fan of the look of most of them, but I do enjoy the benefits of having one. Camp anywhere, dry and lockable storage!

So I looked for almost 2 years for a decent priced topper for my truck. I finally found one but its not exactly what i want but im making it mine. I obviously color matched it. None of which was under $100, but heres where I'll start.
The cap that I bought didn't have a rack. So I went to the junk yard and got a roof rack off of a Jeep Grand cherokee $26. Which I have 2 grands of my own, Mopar or no car *******! I sanded it and put a few coats of paint on it. I clamped my cap with super strut from home depot for $28. while adding structural support to the rack and cap, it also gives me the abilityto mount anything anywhere. Such as a ram mount that (I think I ordered from Amazon) I mount my tablet to.
I just added RGB led strip lights in the bed cap of my truck. I ordered them from Amazon for under $30, they came with x2 16' strips that can be controlled by a remote or your phone. They are installed in housings that I got from ebay. It really cleans it up, so you don't really see the cheap ass lights you've hung in your poverty sled.
The caps electrical is wired through a trailer plug connector for easy and quick disconnect. My lazy ass can back into my garage and have my cap off in under 10min for when its time to do "truck ****".

Hey guys!
I made a video last week on the unboxing and installation of the 4x4FLSTC LED Projector Fog Lights.
I didn't share it here because they were $130.00 at that time. But Harry (The Amazon seller) dropped the price and gave me a coupon code to share with you guys. This will make the light $104.99. I know, I know, I know. That's still over $100..... But it is so darn close, I thought it would share anyways.

One of the best mods I’ve done so far. I got them from Crutchfield site. Plug n play.

How good are they? I’ve blown through two sets of Kickers in my dash within two weeks of receiving them from Crutchfield. Decided to put my stock dash speakers back in. Crutchfield replaced the first set without hassle. Didn’t bother asking about having the second set replaced. Figure maybe it was something I was doing wrong to keep blowing them.

Are you matching the ohms and adding a resistor if it's needed. The stock speakers in the dash are 8 ohms. The replacement speakers I used were just a little less than 4 Ohms so I added the appropriate resistor.

Thanks. I really know nothing when it comes to speakers. This was the first time I’ve ever swapped out multiple speakers and I never heard of ohms until last year. I will say that when I mentioned the issue to Crutchfield, their “specialist” had no idea what to tell me. He kept talking about the bass setting. Even after I told him I took all the bass out.

Does look way better! Just my observations with the covers that have the thingy on top. I noticed on mine (before body lift) that it was rubbing on the paint. We use sand and salt up here so it was causing damage. I trimmed out off and still held in just fine. Keep an eye on it.

You know when I installed it I was thinking same thing. I might modify it now. Thank you!
