That could be a tire issue. Some tires like the stock Goodyear wrangler sra that came on these trucks were terrible in wet weather and one of the first things I did was swap to better tires. It’s also a tire pressure issue in some cases. If a tire is overinflated you have a smaller contact patch which is bad for traction. I’m in west palm beach.Thx very much. I trading my 2019 RAM 4x2 for a 2022 4x4. I drive primarily on highways in FL. Present truck's traction is usually fine except on wet roads when accelerating - like getting up to speed on an interstate.
The electronically locking rear axle functions as a limited slip when it is not locked.
It's in the owner's manual for my Power Wagon. I assumed it would be the same on the 1500, but after looking, i was not able to find it.Are you sure? That’s very unusual.
I haven’t heard of an OEM locker that does this since the 2003-06 Wrangler Rubicon. Those were fairly unreliable, prone to breaking.

I don't have a half ton. I have a power wagon, and that has it. I was wrong on the half ton.Your axle has LSD clutches and an e-locker? In a half ton? That's pretty wild.
