    Rough Country 2" N3 on a V6

Point was… don’t cheap out. You won’t be as satisfied in the end just trying to save a few bucks.

    Rough Country 2" N3 on a V6

That’s what I used spacers on my Gen 4. I didn’t think it would make much of a difference and couldn’t understand why people would pay so much more for 5100’s. WELL, it rode like he&& and my 5th Gen got 5100’s and I realized why the money is worth it.

3.6L Pentastar and the Baxter Performance oil filter adapter

My 4th and now 5th gen’s had no issue. I change it myself and both, I can feel when the O ring grips and then slowly ratchet until I feel to bump of the lip seating it. I might be wrong but, I’d say the majority of the filter leaks are from rough quick change places and poorly trained techs.

    3rd Party Warranty

I’m on my 2nd Sentinal Warranty through Car Edge. They only mark them up $500 and I got the Supreme Plus that’s pretty much bumper to bumper. I haven’t needed it but a couple times but both times, repairs were approved in less than 15 minutes at the dealer. On the Sonata I had… I followed the...

    Pedal Commander causing MGU failure?

My PC has been on and running for close to 2 years with no issue. It’s always on and buried under the dash out of the way and set on City. All they do is operate the throttle fly by wire input.

    etorque and the 5.7

They over billed and over hyped Etorque. The truth is, it’s a fancy engine Start - Stop system and that’s really all it is. Funny there’s posts from people warning STAY AWAY RUN RUN RUN FORREST! Then you look at their profile and they didn’t even make Etorque when their old truck was built. To...

    Speech recognition

Clock spring going out? Not one of those things that happens all at once, just slowly. Does it only happen when the wheel is moving or you’re using other buttons?

Interesting Gas Mileage. 2023 Ram with 3.6 Pentastar

Few things in play… 1 - Winter is cold, the air is dense. That dense air is harder to punch through even though it’s better for air intake. The extra power can’t overcome the added resistance. 2 - That cold air that’s harder to push through, is more of a strain on the V6 because we lack...

    Towing without a towing package

He makes a great point. I do have a set of mirror extensions for hauling the camper. They are cheap and easy to put on and take off. Tahoe Q7i boat doesn’t need them or my flat trailer, just the camper. I never considered upgrading to the moose ear OEM mirrors because I park in the garage and I...

    Towing without a towing package

If you don’t have the factory integrated brake controller… there are alternatives but they won’t work WITH the trucks stability control system. The OEM trailer brake controller can be installed yourself if your know a bit of tech and are handy with some tools.

    Outside air flow through vents

I know what you’re talking about… I’ve found manual climate control systems have some flow through. Automatic climate control doesn’t ever seem to. I’ve noticed in my Bighorn with automatic climate control, even on recirculate, it will randomly open for a bit to allow fresh air in, but it does...

    Customer Satisfaction Notice Y40

%100 agree BUT! I have a RAM Mastercard and it earns points that can be converted to cash. Points are doubled if you use them at a dealer service department. If the local dealer runs an oil, filter and tire deal for $50, especially in winter, I’ll use them since it’s free. Now that it’s warmer...

    Customer Satisfaction Notice Y40

Thanks for the reply. Mine runs fine but after my last dealer visit and they tried to pad an oil change with $1200 worth of extras… I’m even more distrustful than before.

    General grabber at/x tires

I’ve had all kinds of all terrains and said I wouldn’t go back when I got this truck. They all made you give up something like ride, noise, mpg, grip, and I said I wasn’t going back. Black Friday had Cooper Discoverer All Terrains at Walmart+ on a deal. I figured I could resell them if they...
