    Wow ... I would have thought they took more than that! Especially the front. I have a set of fabbed "14 bolt" axles on another rig of mine, and those take about 1.5 gallons for the rear and 1 gallon for the front. Just to double check ... 4.25 quarts for the rear and 2.3 quarts for the front?

    I dunno. Due to the way the DEF system is wired up, I bet you'd know if your system wasn't working correctly. If you don't have any idiot lights on, I say don't worry about it for now.

    So I've taken my truck to the dealership three times to have them look into the issue. Each time they have said "there's an update for your ECU, so we did that. That should fix the problem. But it doesn't. Sounds like its time to draft a letter to Chrysler about the problem.
