    New Tires

the ratings according to the chart are only about 500lbs difference in load rating (the d rated tires being 121/3197lbs compared to e's at 125/3638lbs) it looks like the 10 ply tires are the 35/12.50/17's while the 315/70/17's are only available in 8 ply, in comparison my tires being...

    New Tires

This is the way my tire guru buddy explained it to me... on every tire there is a load rating index that is not necessarily the same as a ply rating... for example, a 315/75/16 8 ply tire can have a higher load index than a 265/75/16 10 ply tire because it's rated to carry more weight...here is...

    New Tires

I'm a big fan of Cooper STT'S I ran 315/75/16' on my Diesel for 47,000 miles the best out of any M/T I've ever driven... I have Goodyear Duratrac's now and they're wearing well, and are super aggressive for an A/T but great on the road and are killer on the snow and ice... they're both a little...

    Newb Questions, With a Plan

I know I'll replace those panels and sand it down good, and touch up that rust (I'm actually thinking grinding it down, throwing some primer on it, then covering it with fender flares...) and slapping the liner on it it looks like it should cover a lot of imperfections... and im thinking it's...

    Newb Questions, With a Plan

As an Iraq Vet I'm looking at the desert tan, or od green... but I'm partial to the black as well... maybe I'll just black out the whole thing, I've been kinda leaning towards that... but I'm liking the od green with some black accents like bumpers, wheels and mirrors, maybe the rockers and...

    Newb Questions, With a Plan

I like the monstaliner option as well... I think I'll order some on payday... I'm just debating the color as we speak... and I need to grab the door and tailgate before I get to that point... and a seat as well... I think I'm going to call them though, I'm unsure exactly how much I need.

I don't think I can do the rattle can Rustoleum I don't wanna drop thousands of dollars on the paint, but I think I can swing a couple hundred to do it up a little... Maybe if I was married I could go the cheaper route, but I still want something I can be proud of at the end of the day...

    Newb Questions, With a Plan

I've thought about just trying to pop it out, but I don't think the end result will be that good, and while I'm at the JY pulling a tailgate, and seat, I might as well grab a door... It's fine for now, it opens, closes, locks and the window and mirror work, I'll call that a victory... is there a...

    Newb Questions, With a Plan

Unfortunately that is a ton of rust on the Tailgate, all the way through,(that one spot on the bed above the arch is the only spot on the body) but the Local JY's have them for around $80-$125 ... and if i'm going to re-coat it I don't have to worry about the color, same with the passenger...

    Newb Questions, With a Plan

I just picked up a '97 1500 Reg Cab 4x4 to Fix-up and drive since its killing me filling up my diesel I'll be honest, I'm a Ford guy, but this truck was too tempting to pick up for $800. It's pretty much a pos, the paint is gone, the shocks are shot, the headlights are so faded I honestly...
